Applicable
version: 5.00 and later
Configuration
Module Options
- Access the Bells and Whistles options on the toolbar
or
from the Tools menu and Options Item.

Hardware setting and tick Actatek as the type of
hardware used and press OK.
Hardware
Devices Options
-
Access the
hardware devices from the toolbar
or
from the Setup menu and Clocks
item.
-
Add a device and choose the
Hectrix made and ACTAtek model.
-
Number the clock code numerically starting with
one. The number sequence and which number you assign to which clock does not
matter.
- In the trigger tab, you can set the ActaTek clock triggers.There
can be up to 40 triggers. A trigger is send to TNA when the user selects the
applicable trigger when he clocks at the ActaTek clock. This trigger is then
translated by TNA according to the classification, job and status assigned.

- The status field translates as follows to a clocking
A=Tna
B=Access
C=Tna and Access
D=Job E=Job and Tna
F=Job and Access
G=Job and Tna and
Access
H=Info
-
The
details setting allows you to set the default clock
type for all employees. Setting can be overridden at
employee level.

-
Setting the Fingerprint reader options allows you
to default all users to automatch or not . Setting the pin number sets the web
password at the same time (this is a hardware constraint). The web password
allows user access to the clock’s web interface.
Employee
Masterfile behavior and options
-
If a clocking is
received for an employee that does not exist,
then the employee is added to the TNA database.
-
If the employee
is assigned a card or fingerprint that does not
exist, then that card or fingerprint is added to
the card table (and the employee is updated to
use that card.)
-
If an employee
record has a _blank_ for card number, name,
surname, password etc AND there is a value set
in the clock, then the TNA field is updated the
next time a Send-Cards, or Send-Employee is
performed
-
If the employee
value is _not blank_ then the clock value is overriden the next time the details are sent to
the clock.
-
Enabling ActaTek
clocks from TNA’s Features list, enables the
Clock setting in the employee update form.

-
The clock admin
level set the clock privileges for the user. For
example may he change clock setting or only look
at information etc.
-
The password sets
the employees pin number and web password for
the clock.
-
Fingerprint
Security level set the clock’s fingerprint
security setting for the employee when the clock
reads his or her fingerprint.
-
The fingerprint
clear button clears the stored fingerprint from
the employee masterfile. This allows the user to
recollect a new fingerprint template.
-
The Clock
Overides button allows clock overrides on
employee level. For example, if the ActaTek
clock is set to a non automatch clock, you can
set the automatch feature here for the specific
employees.

-
NOTE: When send
to clock is disabled, the employee will be
removed from the specified device completely.
