Excused
Warning Option
TNA version 4.17a and later
A new feature
has been added to the TNA’s Employee Warnings. An Employee
Warning can now be changed to an Excused Warning. What this
means is when an employee has provided an acceptable reason as
to why the TNA warning was generated, the TNA generated warning
can be marked as being Excused (i.e. the excuse for the Warning
has been accepted). Excused warnings can be filtered from
reports and Employee Warnings’ calendar and list, enabling
supervisors to gain information on relevant facts when attending
to discipline and personnel evaluations.
When viewing
an Employee’s Warnings, there is now a Change button
available.

-
Select the
Warning that is to be Excused and the select this
Change button and the Response to Warning window
will be displayed.

-
Select the
Warning set as “Excused” tick box and if required a
Comment can also be added.
-
Select Ok.

-
Using the Show Excused tick box enables you to select if excused
warnings are also to be listed or not.
The Excused warnings will be identified by a green tick
mark.

This
operation can also be done from the Calendar view by selecting
the required Warning, right-clicking on it and then selecting
the Change option from the pop-up menu.
