Dynamic
Toolbar / Tearoff Toolbar
2.36 and later
By holding down the Ctrl key when clicking on a menu item, that
item will be added to the Dynamic toolbar. In addition in selected
modules, reports
can be added to the toolbar.
Must have at least version 2.36 installed.
Must be using a screen resolution of 800 x 600 or higher.
If the User holds down Ctrl while clicking on a menu item
then that item is added to the Dynamic Toolbar.
The Toolbar is dockable - by default it is docked at the top of
the window. To undock the window click on the "handle"
(the lines on the far left of the toolbar) and drag the toolbar
down. To redock grab the handle and move it over the existing toolbar
- you'll see the "border" change. When it does so you
can let go and the toolbar will be docked. You can dock the bar
at the top, bottom, left or right of the screen, or it can float
anywhere on the screen.
In the User,
Access, HR and Report modules you can add reports to the Toolbar.
To do this select the Add Report to Toolbar menu item. In
the User, Access and HR modules this is in the Task menu.
In the Report module this is in the Reports menu.
To remove an item from the toolbar Right-Click on the button
(on the Toolbar) and select Delete.
The settings for the Toolbar are stored and will be
restored when the program restarts.
The settings are saved in INI
files in the Windows directory. Therefore each module has it=s
own settings, and each machine has its own settings. The INI file
is typically called Module.Ini Where Module is one
of Access, HR, User, Config, Report,
Batch, Backup and HM.
